This is a first time for me! I've never seen quilted Elm ever in all my days of working with wood! These sets have beautiful colouration and the'Popcorn' style quilt gives a really unique look.

Once oiled or lacquered the colours really pop and the Quilt takes on holographic properties, giving a really interesting effect. A darker transparent stain could be used on these sets and then sanded back if desired to really make the quilted figure pop and come to life!
