Panasonic TH-42PZ70B 42, 1080p plasma TV + HD set top box. Owned from new

  
This was a top of the range plasma when I bought it. It is HD and has a 1080p panel with high quality front spacing speakers and so sound is good. Plasma was the preferred choice to get good blacks and only now are oled tvs really matching the blacks. Unbelievably heavy at 45 kilos hence the minimal pictures. We have upgraded to a bigger TV which in practice is the same overall size but this has the front speakers at the side of the screen and not tucked underneath.
