Honda VARADERO XL1000 VA-9, 2009 996cc With Full Honda Pannier set & Top Box

  
Here is my trusted Honda Varadero XL 1000 VA-9 & what a bike, its taken me all round the UK, Ireland & Europe and never let me down once. Ive looked after it and its looked after me! It was first registered Sept 2009 and has completed 55523 miles.

Its MOTed til Nov 2019 and has been in the garage since then waiting for the warmer weather. I have had the suspension professionally lowered to allow me to plant my 30 legs flat to the floor for better support as its a heavy bike. Because of this it only has a side stand & no centre stand. It comes with a full set of genuine Honda panniers (and plastic covers) and top box & I've also put the Honda strong plastic tank guard on. Crash bars fitted with independent spot lights fitted to them.

Its just had a full service including valve clearances completed in July 2018 and a new Scott oiler fitted. Heated grips & a touring screen with extender. The Metzeler Tourance tyres have completed about 2000 miles and are about a third worn.

I include a spare clutch cable and the original suspension brackets should you wish to raise the suspension again. Also included is the owners manual & the service booklet & 2 sets of keys for the bike & panniers. Some scratches to panniers where its rolled over (whilst stationary) as ive lost my balance, a 12cm x 3cm paint touch up on the front o/s forks cover (on when I bought it). On the fairing theres a few rub marks where the fairing has rubbed against the crash bars on the inside and taken the silver paint off although these are minimal & hardly noticeable. Lastly this is a superb bike and has served me well, i will be sorry to see it go but unfortunately im not getting any younger or fitter so I've got to get something a bit smaller.
