FINE ANTIQUE ENGLISH Writing Double Inkwell DESK SET MOTHER OF PEARL INLAY Papier-mâché Box Chest. EXCEPTIONAL Mid 1800s Queen Victoria Era stylized and beautiful scrolling and intricate abalone Mother of Pearl hand cut embellished Desk top Box. Beautiful EBONIZED Black Lacquer paper mâché and embellished with inlaid Hand cut and made abalone shell AKA mother of Pearl and gold gilded accents. The desk has a center drawer and has two velvet lined metal recesses which hold Fine faceted cut crystal and heavy brass hinged inkwells as well as a front concave recess.

17L x 15W x 4H with out inkwells. Inkwells are 2 5/8W x 4H. The large faceted cut crystal inkwells each have one small back corner chip as shown in the photos.
