Spalted Maple Burr Book-matched set Instrument Top! This set is 7.4mm thick (drop-top thickness). Astounding figure on this set - amazingly detailed with super tight Speck Burr patterns and flame effects. This set is a touch spalted and and a little fragile. Please pay special attention to the sizes on the measuring board in the pictures, and to the guitar sized template outline drawn on to the set.

This Maple had been very carefully air dried for 5 years and then slow-kilned to ensure the ultimate in stability. Dry and ready to use right away. Items are pictured dry and wetted with Naphtha to give an indication of true colour and detail once finished. Naphtha isn't absorbed by the wood, and evaporates very rapidly after use.
